Flight From Elysium

About freedom.  Escape from something so binding that it has become a wrenching, wretched act just to flee.  Perhaps as a prisoner seeks to find the way out, once found, is petrified, either from fear of the present, or fear of the unknown and can manage only the most painstaking steps from the darkness into light.

I chose the name because elysium symbolizes some sort of false comfort to me.  And that’s the toughest thing to overcome—complacency or comfort wallowing in my own failures or errors.  And sometimes I am barely able to bring myself to feebly crawl away, much less walk.
